NOTICE ABOUT LORETO APRUTINO

The Roman town on this site was called Laurentum, because of the many bay laurels (laurus) that grew in the area. The modern town grew up around a castle and Benedictine abbey in the 11th century. In the Middle Ages many of the characteristic buildings of the city were built, with one particularly notable example being the parish church of San Pietro Apostolo.
In 1863, after the unification of Italy, the adjective `Aprutino` was added to the name of the town to distinguish it from several other towns in Italy: in Ancona province, in Asti province, in Novara province, and two separate towns in Perugia province.

The location is very particular. At the same distance between the Adriatic sea and the mountains, give the possibity to arrive in 30 minutes in both sides. From there a wonderful views of the Maiella and Gran Sasso mountains. Is a good side for people that like beach and snow. The city produce a very sweet oil and a very good wine, that is also possible taste in the local farms. Amazings vacations in Loreto Aprutino a quite city near all historical Abruzzo sides.

The house here showned is a villa in the historical medieval center of Loreto Aprutino. Amazing the location, little garden, garage, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a large kitchen, a large living room, a lavatory and a very large balcony. (see the attached map)
Inside and outside has been completely retored in the 2010 , giving to the house the original aspect, like the city historic center require.
